The "rEVOLution" has been going on for a while. For folks that have been part of it since 2006, you've got to see Ron stand out and rally against the system, you got to see and donate to Ron's son make a run at the Senate, and what a fun time that was: a Paul in each house.
Then Rand Paul throws the gauntlet down and says to Washington, "I'm going to be a big deal, you're going to have to deal with me, I'm going to be a power player and I am running for president in 2016."
Since then he has kicked so much ass all around that Senate. You don't have to agree with everything he does but he's not handcuffed by polling, he is causing controversy. Most people running for president are kissing all kinds of ass. Rand is, while guns a blazing, making more enemies and picking up more friends. We could use more like him.
