Paine's perspective is more a celebration of logic

Paine's perspective is more of a celebration of logic, and the Age of Reason is the repudiation of religious books claiming to have been written or inspired by God. Paine's does not doubt that people can have religious experiences, but that experience is confined to them only, and it's hearsay for everyone else. If there is salvation, it should not be based on hearsay is one of Paine's arguments. Appreciated your perspective about this.
