Opt out. We are going to have to bite the bullet sooner or later. Biting the bullet means we just say no to whatever extent we have the fortitude, to everything the establishment forces us into. The theft of the fruits of our labor, the charade elections, the welfare, the warfare, the ruining of our children's minds and souls (state education and psychotropics), the intrusion into our medical care, the coarsening and brainwashing via media and popular culture, the illegal searches and seizures, and on and on. At some point civil disobedience will have to be exercised by us. It is going to be painful and it is going to be expensive. At some point we are going to have to put our money where our mouths are. We are going to have to say no. We should all be mentally preparing for it now. Saying no will mean arrest, prison, poverty, loss, hardship. It is the only tool we have left. Just quit the game. Peacefully and with a clear conscience and good purpose, just say I'm not going to enable this system to continue anymore. I'm not going to be guilty of enabling it and sustaining it anymore.

This will get peoples attention. All the people that couldn't or wouldn't hear us trying to tell them to wake up will not be able to ignore this. But do enough of us have the courage for it? Do enough of us love the idea of freedom enough? Would enough of us throw ourselves into the machine? We are not without role models and individuals to take inspiration from. Snowden, Irwin Schiff, Bradely Manning and John Kiriakou are a few. They are paying a high price for the ideals we value.

I know this, if we continue to go along to get along, as most of us do, nothing will change. The power of tyranny, oppression, and ultimately state slavery will only continue to grow and consolidate unabated.
