"Slaughterhouse 5" is

"Slaughterhouse 5" is essential Vonnegut and the only one of his to be worthily transferred to silver screen. "Cat's Cradle" offers all that Vonnegut does well. "Mother Night" remains my favorite though. I'm not really sure why. It touched me deeply. As I recall I think it was the first book I ever read that brought a tear to my eye as I read it.
