Double edged sword.

Their case may be ill conceived, but even if civil marriage was "meant" to be an heir of virtue of contract, it should have never been called marriage.
That word has meaning attached to it.

Now the problem is with equal protection.
Can the state grant "contracts" to some and not others based on gay vs straight?

Ending civil marriage for all is the way to go, but is not even close to being on my top 10 most important list.
