When

I first heard about this, I was driving and listening to the local talk radio host complaining about how "gloves weren't changed." The host was MORE concerned about the glove change than the act itself. Needless to say it made for a pretty depressing start to the holiday weekend. He's lucky I had an appointment and wasn't able to call in.

The small town LEOs around the coastal areas of Texas are legendary for their bad behavior, but this goes so far beyond, that I don't even know how to respond.
At least the officer was fired, but it still doesn't make me any more comfortable with how far we've strayed off course. It's sickening and infuriating at the same time. Someone must be training them to do this.

I couldn't even bring myself to watch the earlier video of the guy getting arrested for filming and his dog getting shot. I get the feeling from some of the comments around the web that people are about to start taking matters into their own hands. Maybe it's just internet tough talk IDK.

There are only going to be so many videos of forceful blood draws, checkpoints, cavity searches, and dog shootings before some people get pushed over the edge. I'm guessing that's what they want.
