When waxing philosophical

about the most powerful nation, one has to ask oneself: why has the most powerful nation always had an aggressive foreign policy? Why has all of human history thus far leaned towards empires that over-expand themselves, inflate their currency, and collapse into the dustbin of history?

Just because something has always been done a certain way does not mean that it is the only way. Allow the human race to evolve.
