You're missing the principle...

...and so are the anarchists.

The underlying principle is
a) people *can* delegate their own authority or rights to a governmental body.
b) that governmental body can operate under such delegated authority
c) in theory, a governmental body cannot operate outside of that DELEGATED authority

So, if a) and b) are voluntary and c) is enforced, there is nothing contrary with anarchist THEORY.

Of course, there will always be the wildhair who objects on theoretical grounds even if, in reality, the delegated entity never ACTUALLY treaded on that wildhair's rights.

The issue we have today is the delegated entity WIDELY EXCEEDS its delegated authority and all checks and balances are non-functional at this point.
