The irony is that Jack Hunter

The irony is that Jack Hunter constantly accuses his critics of only viewing the Constitution in a big-government light. Yet Jack Hunter is guilty of only viewing the Constitution in a state's rights light.

And of course, according to him, the Confederacy was a noble and brave movement full of philosophical merit, not at all driven by harsh economics and selfish, practical, interests.
