I see a ton of people here noting the (obvious) fact that marijuana is nowhere near as bad as alcohol in terms of health issues. Obviously, Rand was mistaken in regards to the problems with it.
That said, don't go pretending it's not unhealthy. You're still inhaling smoke, which is inherently unhealthy. Addiction is inherently unhealthy, and warping your mind is generally a bad idea.
Are there successful people who smoke marijuana? Yes! That doesn't make it healthy, though. I know people who are in exceptional health that smoke tobacco or drink beer.
I get it. It's not a death drug by any means. Doesn't change the fact that it's unhealthy - and doesn't change the fact that Rand opposes the Federal war on drugs.
