besides, regardless, think Ed Snowden and Glenn Greenwald will stop, until their controlled leak runs its course?

don't think so.

as for Ed himself? He has no 'home' to go back to. He risked his LIFE, career, loved ones, because this IS the right thing to do. Why would he stop? In fact, not stopping, or at least let his current trajectory of actions run its course is the only thing he CAN do.

This is actually kinda reminiscent of the oft observed/expressed perpetual victimhood among the 'alternative' movement, like Tarpley & Naomi Wolf who are publicly positing whether Snowden may be a "limited hangout."

Even if in the worst scenario, that Snowden turns out to be nothing more than a turfwar between Powers that Be & CIA vs NSA, it's like shall we apply some common sense here? Does that negate the FACT that they're spying, and a former insider came forth to reveal the specific details of HOW they're doing it? It's like, is there some brownie points for perpetually doubting everything, all the time, without applying some necessary discernment?

Sure, what Ed Snowden revealed, is nothing 'new':

Key is, the FACT that there is massive broadstroke spying by hijacked corporatist US govt, against practically everyone on earth.

This is about the FACT that we're all illegally being spied on 24/7 across the globe, wherever we go, by the corporatist govt. Not about Snowden, in the finality. It is a simple demonstration that a single person can make a difference and bring light to bear on corruption; it's about the symbol of the individual in action that the Powers that Be fear the most:

so why stop??
