We have no way of knowing if Trayvon invited the confrontation

or not. All we know as fact is that Zimmerman called 9-11 and was told not to follow, he followed for 5-10 seconds which sounded like he was running as he was winded. He caught his breath (i.e. stopped running) and spoke to the operator and stated that Martin had gotten away behind a building. Zimmerman and the operator agree to have officers call him when they arrived and then the conversation ended. The next 4 minutes no one but Zimmerman truly knows what happened, and if we did we would not be having this conversation. I hate it that he lost his life, it is a tragedy that no parent should have to bear, but in the same instance I think Zimmerman was smart not to pump 5 rounds into him, which to me is a sign that his intent was to stop the attack and not end a life.
