There could be a reasonable objection to this commercial

Black Americans have been shielded from the discipline of the marketplace by liberal do-gooders. They have not, generally, developed healthy survival strategies.

Black culture in the US tends to be an ideological cesspool. There is very, very limited intellectual tradition--basically nil, when compared to European culture.

Statistically speaking, a black male parent is far, far, far less likely to do right by his family and based on his cultural influences, he is far, far, far less likely to pass along useful thinking and behavior strategies.

So, to the extent that race is an indicator of certain behaviors and trends, the media normalizing "color-blindness" could lead to many extremely unhappy mothers and children.

Understand, my argument is based on race being an indicator of certain behaviors and trends, not the race itself.
