I never saw that, what I heard was...

That when Martin fled out of Zimmerman's sight he was within 30 seconds of his fathers home. Since the incident occurred further away from that it would appear that Martin did not make an attempt to get home, and supports what Zimmerman told police. During the 9-11 call before Zimmerman was supposedly chasing martin he stated that he had "lost him" and walked a distance to the next road and gave 9-11 an address, then he may or may not have pursued Martin as there was only 2.5 minutes after that call before the neighbor called 9-11 back, 45 seconds later the shot was heard. It appears from the evidence we have that at one time Martin did have the option to go into his fathers home and did not, and then there was the altercation.
