We know for a fact that Trayvon could have retreated once Zimmerman was beaten and surrendered.

Up to that point, both, in their own way were aggressors. And for anyone confused, calling 911 IS an aggressive act. It just means you don't get your hands dirty, so that doesn't give Zimmerman a pass.

911 can be an acceptable aggressive act if done in self defense. But if not done in self defense, it causes armed thugs to show up, and so is nothing BUT aggressive.

Zimmerman my be not guilty, maybe... But it certainly doesn't mean he wasn't just as responsible for the situation.
