Where were the marks on Martin's face? Where was the bruising? You cannot shoot someone for following you and claim self defense, but if someone follows you and evidence points to your head being banged off concrete, then you have justification. Martin as you claim was unarmed, and I will conceded that right up until the point that Zimmerman's head made contact with the concrete you are correct. Once the head to concrete occurred Martin was armed and dangerous, and using force that could be considered lethal, or just the same as using a bat against someone. Perhaps if he jumped Zimmerman in the grass and there was no concrete then it might have turned into a fight, but once the concrete came into play, Zimmerman had every right to stop the threat.
