One is that you could take a multifaceted approach where you could touch on a list of similarities. The disadvantage to this is that you cannot get into any real depth. The second way is to focus on one or two major topics and cover it/them in considerable depth.
Personally, I would focus on the US' history with Iran starting with 1953 and finishing with examples of Obama, Hillary, McCain, Bush, etc all supporting action against the nation. You could highlight the discussion with the installation of Hussein in Iraq in 1979 which occurred in conjunction with overthrow of the Shah, and the US funded war that followed throughout the 1980s among Iraq and Iran. I would make sure to throw in Bill's sanctions against Iraq that resulted in the deaths of some 500,000 children (don't forget to mention Albright's statement that "It was worth it.")
