My eight-year-old girl in public school can't bring cupcakes to share into her classroom for her birthday tomorrow because of the new rules.
She also can't trade - or even share! - items out of her lunch box. This was like half the fun of lunch!
She has to wait on the bus in the morning while the kids who get free breakfast eat in the cafeteria.
They have their snack in the cafeteria because one kid has a peanut allergy.
I had to do this too, but then she still has to say a prayer to the state and god each morning (also known as the 'pledge of the allegiance')
