"New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie publicly challenged libertarian Republicans Thursday to explain their skepticism about government surveillance to the families of 9/11 victims, declaring at a Republican Governors Association event: “I want them to come to New Jersey and sit across from the widows and the orphans and have that conversation.”
This could be brilliant, if Rand would play this wisely. And I think he's smart enough.
New Jersey is where the famous 9/11 widows, 'The Jersey Girls', are from. They are the four women who literally forced the Bush administration to have a public investigation of 9/11. The Bush administration ensured the "investigation" was a cover-up that didn't answer several hundred questions the families demanded answers to, and didn't hold anybody accountable.
In September 2006, for the 5th anniversary of 9/11, I wrote a letter to the editor of my local newspaper. During that month, the newspaper didn't publish anything about 9/11; not the anniversary, the attacks, conspiracy, etc. Nothing, except my letter. It was titled Exposing the official cover-up and was about 9/11: Press for Truth and 'The Jersey Girls':

Rand, accept Chris Christie's challenge. Go to New Jersey, with 'The Jersey Girls' as your guests, and let those 9/11 widows completely dismantle Chris Christie. You won't have to say a thing. Thank you.
