yup. I'm with ya. That

"the even louder applause after the General's retorts was disheartening."

is what truly is the disturbing part. and I'm sure many of them there think they are literally smarter than the rest of us, enough to rule the world, via their sociopathic nerdom.

Truly dangerous individuals: high IQ control freaks with extremely low emotional IQ with broken to non-existent moral compass that are exhibited via over-compensatory domineering ways (hey, that 'getting crazy at the prospect of losing a Capture-The-Flag in a FPS online game/LAN party session'-nerdrage gotta be released & manifested somehow and somewhere in the real world, no?) insecure and immature children, with access to govt terrorist generals with real weapons, who relish in the factual delusion that they're 'smarter than the rulers,' so much so, that they can literally guide the world, without the 'rulers' knowing, in fact, it is they, who are directing the world.'

I miss all the adorable non-postal, sweet, passionate nerds geeks of the 1980's and 1990's to some extent, whom LOVED passionately what they did and could careless about what some moron douchebags say to or about them.
