I can't say that I agree, but that doesn't matter, I was simply asking the question.
However, before you use Gandhi as a reference, you should understand something that is usually left out in discussions about him.
He did not win without blood. In fact, by many accounts, he won because the British eventually grew disgusted with themselves over the slaughter of the people that supported Gandhi. There was much death. Gandhi survived, and Gandhi didn't kill, but many died for the cause.
And lastly... The results of Gandhi's stand became a socialist form of government and ultimately was still held in the firm grip of the Imperialist nations. (Who do you think controls a vast majority of the Indian economy today?)
