Party before principle ...

nothing new and it is the very concept which makes big tent broadly defined political parties, platforms, policies and their political agendas for reasons beyond freedom wholly repugnant.

One would think any so called constitutional conservative who rails about principles of limited constitutional government would object to broadly defined political agendas or polices but that would mean most people act rationally most of the time.

Nope what we get are constitutional conservatives who want to club the shit out of apathetic libertarians for lack of participation because the only broadly defined party plank, platform, or policy we can agree with is freedom which is noticeably absent from political agendas and policies.
