In reply to comment: Sons as in children of God, yes. (see in situ)

That's OK.

Not everyone can hear the voice of God. This has been true from the beginning and is still true today. We shall all hear one day, each in their own time. The Hebrew word for "hear is "shema" which also means "obey' so to Hear is to Obey.

Just as not all can hear and obey the Gospel there are Christians who are predestined to remain in either the condition of Passover or of Pentecost. Then there are the "elect" who will celebrate Tabernacles and enter into the Holy of Holies in the High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel is a "mystery" as the apostle Paul tells us. It contains many secrets (the hidden manna) that are only revealed to the humble and contrite of heart, the poor in spirit who overcome, who gain the victory over sin, death and the devil.

Of course you cannot understand what I am saying but there may be others who need to hear this word and this is for them.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
