I didn't have an interest in world history until I sailed to Europe in 1992. I thought something 200 years was old. LOL
Started studying world history in 1997 and became confused by conflicting written accounts. A learned man suggesting studying economic history. Bingo and this is a great example.

Older men, WWII Vets told me to save all of my dimes, quarters, and halves. My family had a small business that I worked at. Nobody minded that I came in with a sock of 'new' dimes, quarters, and halves and one empty sock every afternoon. Nobody else was doing it.
