I'm reading a book about intermittent fasting. It's a diet plan of 5 days normal eating and 2 days of reduced calories. Bottom line is that science is catching up with what fasting has long shown. The body repairs itself during times of famine and stores energy during times of feast. It's the continual eating/feasting that is one of our worst enemies.
