I'm from the Piedmont. I teach English abroad and enjoy clay-court tennis. I decided at age fifteen I preferred Republicans to Democrats. At age 19-20 I decided elected officials from both parties were not representing my philosophies. At Auburn University, I learned the word "libertarian" and decided its spirit would eventually reemerge and bring together the good intentions of individuals from both parties. After seeing Ron's late-summer Twin-Cities speech in 2008, I realized that true "classical liberalism" was beginning to spread fast; the Republican Party appropriately appears to be its main vehicle-- due in large part to Ron's willingness to be truthful. He's brought a lot of integrity to the party-- history will define him as a leader.
