same here,

got rid of Twitter, COMPLETELY.

but kept YouTube; there are still a lot of interesting vloggers with passion for diverse, disparate interests, and some PM's have gone well. plus if they're YouTube-partners and do it full time, a few nanosec. it takes to 'vote up,' and help them out with their subscription numbers, create a buzz/add to the momentum of 'viral-ness' of their particular video(s) I'm cool with it.

but I'm under no illusions as to whether I'll be able to 'convert' anyone in a 500word box, especially when your typical YT comments goes from utter idiocy to utter lunacy, after about 3 rounds of replies, devolving into a few 'bouts of name calling, to perpetual 'feed me, I'm too lazy to look up anything, because simply demanding to be spoon fed info that I'm gonna deny the veracity of regardless of reality, is much more fun for me'-comments.

other than some remote possibility of positing a favorable R3D Pill seed, to affect them later, even if that means 1~10% of those whom I encounter on YT, I don't take YT comments seriously, at all.D
