The sheep were grazing in

The sheep were grazing in their daily peace
But the wolf always watched, waiting for his release

For years his hounds would keep evil at bay
Ever close to the sheep, the guardians would stay

The shepard would visit a man from deep in the city
Who spoke bad about his dogs and sounded so sensibly

So one day the shepard had sent all his dogs home
"Those mutts scare me" he began to drone

So it was only the shepard that the sheep did trust
For protection agaisnt the wolf's bloodlust

But they day finally came, the shepard was asleep
The dogs ran from the house but they were soundly beat

The wolf had come and devoured his kill
For the shepard had betrayed his wisdom for some mindless shill

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.
