Comment: You do not have a right to endanger the lives of others.

(See in situ)

You do not have a right to endanger the lives of others.

You must be one of those 18+yr old irresponsible, unfit to drive individuals, that I see countless numbers of, over here on the west coast.

There should be no fine, then you can't argue its only for revenue.
Texting, or any kind of impaired driving, ie drunken, putting on make-up etc. should result in immediate suspensions of your license for 1yr. with no monetary fine imposed.

That sound better? No fine, so you can't argue it to be just a revenue generator.
You probably don't like that either, cause you really didn't care about the whole revenue aspect; it was really about you not wanting to be inconvenienced while endangering the lives of others.

The Skateboard analogy is completely ridiculous; you endangering yourself by using a skateboard is your business.

Hopefully with technology, all cars and phones will have an auto-sync feature that disables any texting from within the vehicle while moving....problem solved.
