In a few years. My chances of getting elected are slim though. The the county where I live and the next county over where I work are both in the bible belt of east Texas. Hard core republicans. The current Sheriffs and their predecessors ran on cleaning up the streets by heavy drug law enforcement. I couldn't stand in front of a group of voters with a straight face and discuss drug laws unless I was advocated repealing most of them.
I would be bood off stage in this town and my house would probably be subsequently raided. They might find my silver as a result and try to Rico Act me out of everything I own. lol.
You get the picture..
I still want to be Sheriff so I can show people what they've been missing out on but it would be an uphill battle to get fairly elected.
