Slightly off-topic, but

are people really going to start referring to Israel as "that country" now? It's as dumb as people saying "the N word". We're all adults here, and we all know what 'the n word' or 'that country' refers to-- can't we just say what we mean?

I know Mr. Nystrom made some new rule about it to discourage divisive threads concerning "that country", and while I can understand his reasoning, I don't think it'll change anything.

Anyway...back on topic...

Granger, if I were you, I'd just drop it. Seriously. I get that you want to explain your side and all, but frankly most who read this topic will just walk away with the same opinion as before (pro/anti/neutral/don't care), and it reenforces the general perception that you like being the center of attention.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, just offering a suggestion based on past events. Don't dig yourself into another hole...unless you're into that sort of thing.
