What model number battery are you looking at?

Something isn't adding up. Just curious for my off grid considerations. :-)

If you use 40kw per day then that is 1666 watts per hour average. That means one fully charged standard 48 volt 840 ah battery on a 20 hour rate should easily run your house for 24 hours. And that is without any solar or wind input at all.

It seems if you got their smallest standard 48 volt battery which is 804ah at 20hr it would work and three of them would only cost $14073 and that's before any discount that you would get for buying multiple batteries.

I personally would go with 12 volts wired in series parallel. But that's another discussion.
