For what it's worth

For me, this song sums it up. Well, except the part about young people speaking their minds, such as re our liberties... or war? I'd say it can be explained by a deadly mix of a deteriorated public school system; a preoccupation with computer games, social media, and tv & videos - a country entertaining itself to death; and the fact that today's young adults likely don't even remember when, say, traveling by air within the states was not akin to traveling in East Germany. But I can think of a retired Congressman who did more than his fair share to educate them - many who *are* now awake:

Well, anyway, For What It's Worth:

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
