Of course I listened

Well for me it's obscured by the fact that I automatically think "Tom Petty" when I think of Bob Dylan so I get sort of stymied when I hear a Dylan song I have to weigh in a literary sense. Dylan and Petty have both been called "the last romantic poets". I think perhaps U2 squoze in there after the 70's/80's (your mileage may vary).

I have been both the author and the subject of this song, "To Ramona".

Not sure when it all started (the black sheepness, the square peg in a round holeness) but culminated outwardly hugely for the first time in the 11th grade, when I received an honorable mention from the University of South Carolina's Maggie's Drawers for my short story "When the Process is Due" which was a comedy piece about my actual attempt at a 10th grade research paper entitled "Fatalism and Pessimism in Tess of the d'Urbevilles as portrayed through the life of Thomas Hardy" (the author of Tess) clearly I've had my ups and downs for years. Downs wrapped in ups and ups wrapped in downs.

This probably made no sense but you asked. :)

Freedom is: not having to do what you don't want to do.
