Would it really matter either way?

It'd be nice to see one of them in office, but even then it'd only be a single step in the right direction. A big step, yes, but only a step.

Perhaps when the issue of electronic voting machines are FINALLY addressed, I'll maybe take national elections seriously...until then I consider it to be nothing but theater to keep people under the impression that they still have a choice when it comes to who gets to lord over them.

But just for the heck of it, I'll bite anyway.

Ventura seems like a well-intentioned guy, but like another poster said, he seems to be all over the place at times. Besides, let's face it-- appearances matter (they shouldn't, but they do), and he's more likely to scare people off than to draw them in, heh.

Rand already has the attention of the rank and file GOP, and is pretty much a household name at this point. I'm still not 100% on board with him, but if I *had* to pick, I'd reluctantly throw my support behind him.

Still, I'd prefer to do things only up to the county level, but that's just me.
