It was a split second decision and everyone's life was in danger

The victim's actions threatened the lives of every officer and civilian in the area as well as and her own child's life. It sucks that she died this way but the consequences of her actions were justifiable.

The police showed good discretion and tried multiple times to get her out of the car without gunfire. If you watch the video you can see that the woman uses her car defensively with lethal force multiple times towards the officers. The officers probably saved the child's life and possibly anyone else in the area had the officers not fired and this turned into a high speed chase.

You should not judge the officers involved. They did not ask for this, they weren't all getting paid, it wasn't an easy situation to face, they did their best and they did their job.
