Not subject to US law? Really?

Where is the evidence?

Just claiming a special economic zone isn't convincing. Typically such zones are exempt from import duty on goods brought into the zone from outside the host country. Companies operating in them are also usually exempt from local taxes, but then again most large companies are able to negotiate special tax deals in exchange for bringing the jobs.

If someone gets shot or raped or whatever, you bet the local police are coming to deal with it. To say these zones are exempt from the laws of the host state is quite a stretch.
