I was never diagnosed with something because I never went to a doctor, but I got into a state where my body would start pumping adrenalin into my system with any amount of sweet food (including organic fruit).
A long story made short, making green juice out of any green leafy vege, with cucumber and celery to make it palatable was most of my cure. This along with avoiding everything that breaks down into sugar.
I used to live on fruit, so the idea of removing it from my diet was daunting for a while, but I found that once I had balanced the nutrient content in my diet that I stopped craving it. Now I can consume moderate amounts without it having any overt effects, although largely I feel better off without it and so mostly avoid it anyway.
Freedom is a byproduct of acceptance - judge not.
