I know they know what is going to happen.
What I don't get is why are they doing what they are doing.
Amash is not going to be in trouble.
A Rand Paul, or a Ted Cruz, or a Mike Lee is not going to be in trouble during primary season.
The McConnells and the Boehners are the ones that are going to feel the pressure.
I think the status quo is going to give it one last go during the campaign season.
I guess they have nothing to lose. They would prefer to retire than to change their stripes so they are going to have one last go around.
The only thing that is bothering is that there appears to be a concerted effort to recruit democrats in open primary states to vote in the Republican primaries in order to maintain to status quo.
This might work ... or it might backfire.
We are playing the long game and we don't care if Republicans win.
I would choose Alan Grayson over a Peter King any day.
So what if the Democrats take over the house. They are going to be more ideologically in line with us on Civil Liberties and monetary policy and foreign policy anyways.
Our coalition is going to be accross party lines. We will not be limited by artificial and arbitrary political boundaries.
