we hold mutually exclusive premises. So maybe we should have a rational discussion about whose premises are correct. That is what I tried to do with that talk show host and he started yelling at me, using coarse language, and calling my position crazy. So how do you reason with that?

Like you, I was a Ron Paul supporter before being a Ron Paul supporter was cool, but I am not running for anything. I can just tell it like it is. Maybe at first they will be angry at the blunt truth, the honest label about what their choices amount to, but maybe the intervention will eventually work with some of them.

At any rate, it is not OK with me for them to keep looting my kids and then rail at me as the bad guy when I object. I am not going to alter this position.
