You can't be serious ...

Let's overlook the fact chickenshit and you would quote SCOTUS rulings all day long and say ... see ... SCOUTS said it therefore it must be true. If your logic applies then how come SCOTUS isn't full of shit on other rulings?

A person is merely defined as an entity with a bundle of rights. Is an entity a physical object?

"An entity is something that exists by itself, although it need not be of material existence. In particular, abstractions and legal fictions are usually regarded as entities. In general, there is also no presumption that an entity is animate."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entity

And the term entity is precise language which can be found in legal dictionaries as well as judicial opinions.

I think the plain truth has already been indicated. Persons are not a type of physical thing.

In addition to corporations we can look at real world examples of persons:

A CEO is a person but it is not a physical object because it is an office occupied by a living man or woman who uses the title.

A General is a person but it is not a physical object because it is an office occupied by a living man or woman who uses the title.

A citizen is a person but it is not a physical object because it is an indefinite office occupied by many living men and women who share in the honors of the state and its administration of justice by using the title.
