I think, perhaps, many are missing the point--

racism exists everywhere; exploitation of people who are "not like us"--

takes place everywhere in the world.

There are people in every nation who want to live in peace with people from other nations, and there are those who do not.

Many of the terrible things that are happening in Africa now are probably the result of blow-back; some may even be covert CIA operations--

the result is affecting the entire world.

Treating other humans with respect is not easy for everyone to do, but it's worth trying.

There is virulent racism everywhere.

But the OP has no hatred in it; the person is simply trying to share something he/she has learned.

It's important that *we* learn about these things. Yes, there are problems in Africa; yes, there are corrupt leaders in Africa; there are everywhere--

but there are other things happening there. Many people really do not understand the covert activities of special forces and the CIA, etc.--

in Africa. Some of the evil people are Africans; some of them are not.

How does the 'world' respond? Looking the other way is not the answer--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
