I like that movie. Saw it recently again.

But that scene, like most Hollywood movies when they try to depict brilliance, fails.

Here's why. He doesn't demonstrate analytical ability, except fleetingly, but demonstrates a "photographic memory." Two different things. A complete moron can have a photographic memory and tell you what was printed on a specific page.

I knew people who claimed to have photographic memories who failed out of law school. Why? Because they couldn't analyze, interpret, understand.

That you think this clip demonstrates intellect, shows what you don't know, or have. Fail.
