I like the idea of shares of ownership vs divided property.
It's easier for people to get in and out of -- more liquid.
If a team member/family is presented with a compelling offer elsewhere, they can pick-up and leave with their nest egg in tact. Empowered to launch into the next thing.
Also, investment capital is not an issue.
So I don't need money investors.
I need human capital.
Clear thinking, inventive, talented, purposeful, honest human beings who want to live a quality life with limited intrusion.
So people have a say about every aspect of the venture, but they are not individually burdened by having to be responsible for all of it. It's shared. Like a team of horses vs one horse pulling the load.
More of an "employee owned" community.
i.e. If you want raw milk it's there. It's yours. You don't have to deal with the red tape of government. Each person 'owns it all'. And each person contributes to creating all of it.
