I understand but?

Would not more technology require more dependence on the outside world if it needed parts? It would be impossible to make a circuit board, chip or micro-switch in a "timely" manner and this always seems to happen when it is needed most.

It has been my experience that technology like this takes more time to keep running than if one had just done the job manually the old way. When I was in the garbage business we did more hand tossing than automated because of constant breakdowns. More technology, more things to fail.

Make sense? Are you wanting as much independence from the outside world as possible? If so, then you wouldn't want to paint yourself into a corner, right?

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.
