Losing the green glasses.

In L. Frank Baum's original book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, citizens of the "Emerald City" did not in fact live in a city made of emeralds. The green glasses they wore made it appear as an "Emerald City".

It is unfortunate that what you have said is true, except in saying that no American has fight left in them. Of course that fight still exists - it's just been displaced. It is more truthful to admit that our fight has been turned against us.

Don't let the negative reception of your insight displace your own fight. The longer a person looks at this system we live in the more obvious it becomes that there is no way to fix it - it's true - but that does not mean there is no hope for you. Accept the fact that anything we say will immediately be defiled, used against the truth it represented, but don't fall silent. Accept the fact that all unnatural unities are held together with lies, but seek natural unity. Accept the fact that mortality is the only real guarantee in life, and your responsibility to postpone it for the women, children and weaker brothers around you. Seek freedom in nature - you will never find it among mankind.
