The stone age savages didn't exactly welcome Europeans...

...with open arms.
They fought bravely, resisting the diversity introduced to the continent by European settlers, gained early, decisive victories, slaughtering men, women and children, but ultimately lost.
And, stop acting so innocent.
The Siberian-Asian migrations continually displaced existing populations as they advanced into the Americas. Do you really think the indians in Tierra del Fuego just decided one day, "Hey! Let's go live with the penguins at the tip of South America!" Or, maybe the Inuit said, "Gee! We're gonna go live in the Arctic Circle on a subsistence diet of whale blubber and have homes made of ice!"
No.
They didn't.
They took what they could hold.
From others.
Or, were driven there by others.
