It has happened, friend. That much, at least, is true.

Miko Peled's (author of 'The General's Son') niece was killed by a suicide bomber. It was the turning point in his life. He found himself wishing the guy who killed her would suffer something ugly, only to realize that the guy deliberately killed himself, too. That led Peled on a journey to find the truth and a path to lasting peace.

The problem with the statement you replied to is that WE DO CARE. It doesn't matter who or what the innocent human being is. The killing has to stop and can only be stopped when the truth is freely given to both sides.
