It may help to answer this question with some accurate history study.
What was, for example, The Declaration of Independence?
Look, your word choices convey a lack of you being up to speed with the history of this country.
A "citizen," for example, is a word that may mean a person in bondage to a higher authority such as a slave master, or such as a holder of a "indenture" as in "indentured servant," and the word "citizen" can mean a person bonded under a contract under Uniform Commercial Code, or Maritime Law, or Admiralty Law, or Corporate Law, as the "citizen" may be then considered as a "ward of the state" or an "infirm" or "infant" or "feeble minded" or whatever the word "citizen" may CONVEY in legal terms according to those who believe in a specific form of Authority.
So the question then becomes a series of questions whereby the answers can answer all the questions.
"At what point are citizens justified in using lethal defensive force against the government?"
"What was The Revolutionary War?"
"What was Shays's Rebellion in between The Revolutionary War and the first Con Con in 1787?"
"What was The Whiskey Rebellion after the first Con Con in 1787?"
"What was the Civil War?"
"What happened in Athens Tennessee when the city government was overthrown by some of the armed people in that city?"
Please consider the possibility that the authority that is currently in force is a criminal authority.
When the victims of criminal authority are driven into acts of violence against the criminal authority then those former victims can volunteer to become criminals themselves, or, on the other hand, those former victims can find peaceful ways to avoid being victims.
A competitive form of authority has been invented far back in human history whereby no human being is above the concept of law, and therefore as soon as one human being raises themselves above the concept of law that person is then accurately identifiable as a criminal.
No one can be judge, jury, and executioner, all in one, under the concept of rule of law whereby the meaning of rule of law is such that no one (no human) is above the law, with the obvious exceptions being those human beings deciding on their own to be criminals.
That "belief" in that type of authority, whereby no one, not even Kings, are above the law, may sound unfamiliar, or foreign, to the readers reading this reply.
If so, then this country is no longer based upon that belief within that individual mind, whereby that individual mind thinks that "every king in his castle" is a foreign idea to the people in this country; whereby we the people in this country are not "citizens" of a foreign corporation, enslaved by such beliefs in such falsehoods.
As to foreign examples of what happens when the people in a country are too long suffering under false beliefs there are words available whereby those people in those foreign countries offer words to the wise.
I will offer to anyone two sources whereby words to the wise are offered within.
First is a book:
The author of that book was one of the Non-political (meaning Non-Nazi) Military Soldiers who stood up against the criminals running Germany. The book is a collection of statements quoted from the average people in Germany during World War II, and if you read that book you may find the words to be all too familiar, NOT FOREIGN, to our current state of this country.
Second is a dire warning from another Military man who was in another foreign country (to the people in this country) whereby the so called "politics" in that country went from non-criminal to CRIMINAL in the most accurate sense of the word CRIMINAL government (belief in false authority).
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
That is a problem.
That is a belief by too many people in this country whereby absolute authority is commanded by an absolute dictatorship whereby every order will be obeyed without question.
That problem can be summed up with one word: Monopoly.
It is not a game played ONLY by children.
The solution to the monopoly problem, if it exists, is competition.
Information that competes with the Monopoly information often inspires the employees (or servants) of the Monopoly to CENSOR that information.
