Like Cyprus, which I feel was

Like Cyprus, which I feel was a dressed rehearsal, governments will go after private bank accounts and probably 401Ks, IRAs, Pensions, etc...although I dare say that the American people will not be so easily placated with the theft, but they might surprise me. Physical gold and silver however, might pose problems for them since it can be readily hidden and due to the fact that the people buying physical gold and silver maybe of an entirely different stripe than most Americans couch potatoes, the resistance to any confiscation could be substantial. The confiscation of gold/silver today would probably equate to the confiscation of guns in the minds of those who hold gold/silver.As far as the internet goes, I expect them to eventually place a limitation on the flow of information and access as the socio-economic system deteriorates.
